About us Zoologiaについて

普段着を通じて、地球上に生きる動物たちへの興味と理解を深めることを目指します。

Zoologiaが掲げるゴールは、"ファッションブランド"として洋服を販売することではありません。販売する洋服を通じて、そのモチーフとなる野生動物たちが直面する深刻な危機を少しでも認識するきっかけとなりたい、そして実際にその危機を乗り越えるためにアクションを起こす媒体でありたいという願いを込めて、立ち上げました。特にこれからの未来を生きる子どもたちに、豊かな地球環境や生物多様性を守り託す責任があると考えています。

Our goal is not the success as a kidswear brand but to rising awareness to parents and kids for many species in need of greater conservation. Zoologia is born with the vision to take actions for saving endangered species and restoring biodiversity in our planet. Save together!

Concept 3つの特徴

生態系の描写を大切にした、博物画のヴィンテージ・イラスト

1600〜1800年代を中心とした、動物学者や研究家たちが描く図鑑のイラストを中心に、デザインを展開しています。当時豊かな自然の中で見ることができたこれらの動物たちは、残念ながらいま絶滅危惧種として認定され、存続が危ぶまれています。

The vintage zoology illustrations in 1600 - 1800s are mainly used for a pattern and design, to highlight a important challenge of saving endangered animal species.

天然素材や再生素材を使用した環境負荷の少ない服づくり

農薬や化学肥料を3年以上使用しない農地で栽培されたオーガニックコットンや、環境に悪影響を与えることのない再生繊維をできるだけ使用し、全て日本国内で縫製しています。また大量生産を行わず、廃棄をなくすため、ベーシックなアイテムを少量ずつ、シーズンを問わずに展開します。

The products are made by natural material such as organic cotton, linen and also recycled fiber, in Japanese local factory. Zoologia also has reasonless line-ups through a year with small batch production.

お買い上げいただいた売り上げの一部を、野生動物・環境保護団体に寄付します。

継続的に保護団体を支援していくことを目指します。また寄付のご報告はHP上でお知らせしてまいります。

The part of the profit will be contributed to wildlife / nature conservation organizations.
